Neighborhood Watch Program
Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention program joining citizens and law enforcement, with the citizens keeping a trained eye and ear on their communities to make them safe. Each Neighborhood Watch Program has a Block Captain, who shall act as a liaison between law enforcement and their respective Neighborhood Watch group. If you are interested in being a Neighborhood Watch Block Captain, please contact Darin Gharat, Police Chief, at 883-4052.
MARK YOU CALENDARS, as the City of Hughson will be participating in National Night Out very soon for 2013! National Night Out is designed to:
- Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
- Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
- Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs.
