Ramon Bawanan has resided in Hughson since 1992 and has been a resident of Stanislaus County since 1954.

Ramon and his wife Barbara have been married for 33 years and have three grown children and two grandchildren. Their children attended Hughson schools and all three graduated from Hughson High School.

Ramon graduated from Grace M. Davis High School in Modesto. He received his AA degree in Business Administration from Modesto Junior College and his BA degree from CSU Stanislaus in Business Administration with a concentration in Personnel Administration. His post graduate work was in Labor Relations, Human Resources and Management Development.

Ramon has spent over 25 years of professional work history in Human Resources Management since graduating from CSU Stanislaus. He also received an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Coast Guard.

Ramon Bawanan sits on various Council appointed committees, for example; 2 Plus 2 Committee with Hughson Union School District and Hughson Fire District. He values the ability to serve the Hughson community and work to keep the outstanding quality of life we continue to enjoy in our city.

Ramon Bawanan believes the City of Hughson is the envy of the other cities in Stanislaus County.
