The Director of Administration Services oversees and directs the operations and services of the City’s Administrative Services Department, including personnel, risk management and internet services (IT); coordinates activities with other City officials, departments, outside agencies and organizations; provides responsible and complex staff support to the City Council and City Manager/Executive Director of the Redevelopment Agency; and serves as technical resource for assigned staff.
This City Clerk is appointed by the City Manager and is responsible for recording the minutes of the meetings of the City Council, Redevelopment Agency (RDA), Economic Development Corporation and Public Financing Authority; maintaining all records of council business, including a record of the adoption, amendment, and repeal of ordinances and resolutions; updates and maintains the Hughson Municipal Code; administers the oaths of office; receives and processes all claims against the city; supervises the conduct of city elections; reports campaign and statements of economic interest to the Fair Political Practices Commission; and acts as the custodian of all records of the City.
